THE STAGE OF

Design Counseling

We have all faced at least once the problem of furnishing the house. We want a modern interior design through the choice of materials, lighting fixtures, furniture and much more. With each new project, we aim to find as many aspects as possible characteristic of the beneficiaries, aspects that will help us in shaping a personalized layout.

Good communication with clients is one of our strengths to be able to create an interior design project that fully meets their requirements, both functionally and aesthetically. Only by communicating can we practice our profession at the highest standards, thus succeeding in combining the aesthetic with the useful, finding solutions that are appealing in terms of appearance and satisfactory from a pragmatic point of view.

Interior Design, between Art and Profession

The first mistake

The Importance of Space Proportions in an Interior Design Project

The first mistake is choosing an interior design example that does not comply with the proportions of your own space.

In other words, either in the image the room is way too high, and the chandelier makes all the money, and in fact we only have a Studio whether the image is in the attic of the house, with lots of wood and with fireplace, with broad and generous windows through which we can see the Alps, carrying us with thinking about Switzerland, and the space planning is a simple apartment furnished with small windows, to many walls, and poorly configured.

Is time for me to explain the theory of fruit salad and the fact that in a small bowl may not get all the fruits for making the salad; this would lead us to two solutions: we become selective or  we start looking for a bigger bowl. 50% of those with whom I had philosophized on the fruit bowl theory I had to interrupt the conversation … hmm, greedy people!

The second mistake

The Consistency of Style in an Interior Design Project

The second mistake that I often meet is choosing the objects fitting before being made fittings, or at least its design overall. After a pretty interesting conversation with newcomers I received by e-mail a list of objects that they want kept in the new design. I don’t think that would be a mistake, but it shouldn’t resemble the ones above…

The third mistake

Ventilated Space with a Professional Interior Design

The third mistake is related to over-crowding. The space needs to breathe and to emanate a state of mind, a mood. Thus, with many different colours, textures, shapes or lights we can give an ambient its own personality. But be careful; too much personality is not always desirable.
